The Australian Treasury and Standards Australia together with representatives from government, regulators, national standards bodies, industry associations and SMEs convened a two day APEC Harmonisation of Standards Workshop in November 2015.

The workshop participants identified several key issues, opportunities and challenges faced by SMEs in relation to the movement of cross-border data and produced a set of key recommendations.
