On Wednesday, 3 August 2016 Standards Australia hosted a visit by a Chinese delegation of stakeholders involved with ISO/TC 298 Rare Earth. The delegation was led by the Chairperson of ISO/TC 298, Mr Cunzhen Ma and Ms Lan Gao, Secretary to the Technical Committee. The delegation met with members of Standards Australia’s Mirror Committee to ISO/TC 298. Topics discussed included the draft strategic business plan, increasing PASC members involvement in the technical committee’s work and the inaugural plenary which will be hosted by the Standardization Administration of China, in 11-12 October 2016, Beijing PRC.
